After around 40 hours of flying within 4 days i can say my recent trip to Panama was a fun one.
It started off with a 13 hour flight to LA then a 4 hour flight to Atlanta then another 4 hour flight to Panama. All the crew waited till i arrived then we went straight to a place for dinner that was owned by one of the riders (Rudy Waller).
The next morning we all got up early and went to a work shop and put all our bikes together which took all day as we had to wait on parts and other things to happen. The work shop was right on te Panama canal which was awsome seeing the biggest ships id ever seen cruise down the canal. I also got the opportunity to go surfing over which was awesome. I’ve been getting right into it lately!
Things were a little awkward at first when i found out Chuck Corothers would also be riding the show in Panama. For you guys that don’t know, Chuck also backflipped a Harley Davidson on the very same weekend that I did; however I beat him by one day to be the first in the world ever to do it. In the end we got talking about it and everything was cool, he’s actually a really cool guy.
On the day of the show everyone got up early and went to the venue wich was in doors and the set up was good. we didn’t ride till the afternoon cause of some problems at the venue which wasn’t a problem cause we got to watch the drift cars and stunt road bikes do their thing.
Eventually it was time to ride, i rode for about 15 minutes and my bike over heated and i had to sit that show out but definitly made up for it in the next show. I met alot of cool people in Panama all the riders were top blokes and i can definitly say I’ll be going back there hopefully sooner rather than later.
Thats it for me for now, I’m off to New Zealand next for a demo at the Auckland Supercross so I’ll let you know how that goes!
Cheers
Sauly

All the crew from Panama!
